Help send Cory to Ireland!

Andrew Cory Daniel mission-tripAndrew Cory Daniel is Scott’s youngest son and is studying for the ministry. As a part of his requirement to graduate, he must make a mission trip, and the one they chose for him is to Ireland.
In order to make the trip he has to come up with $2100.00. He must raise $1200.00 of that amount by February 1, 2015. As you can see, time is limited.
Since Scott is unable to help we are reaching out to you, our friends, to help in supporting Cory. For more information and to donate please click here. (donations closed with thanks to all who helped)
God bless you in whatever you can do to help and if you can’t help at this time we still pray God’s blessing on you.
Tommy Daniel, Cory’s grandfather

Christmas Update – Dec 25, 2014

Christmas Update Gregory Scott DanielJust wanted to give you an update on Scott and wish you a very Merry Christmas from Scott, myself, and the whole family.
Every day seems to be a new adventure with Scott. For example, the past few days, at times, his pulse rate has been dropping into the 40s. Normal pulse rate is 60-70. I don’t know what is causing that, of course, but my prayer has been that when God decides to take him to heaven, He will just stop his heart without any pain.
I believe God will answer my prayer and perhaps He is preparing me. I don’t know, but I do know God is in charge and we need to be prepared to accept God’s will. Please keep Scott in your prayers as I know you have.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Update on Scott – May 1, 2013

Gregory Scott Daniel

Update Gregory Scott DanielIt has been awhile since I have done an update on Scott but while I don’t have any good reasons, I have plenty of excuses.

Since Pam went to be with the Lord not a day goes by we don’t think of her.  We know she is better off, but as many of you know, it does not make it any easier for those of us left behind.

Scott is doing very well.  One of his nurses, Tracey, is determined to have Scott in a wheelchair and in the living room by Christmas day.  She is very determined and I would not bet against that happening.

Pam is with our Lord

There have been a number of things since my last update but I want to let you know that Scott is doing very well before telling you everything else that has happened.

Scott’s mother, Pam, had been fighting ovarian cancer for about 2 years. In June 2012 we discovered the cancer was stage 4 and nothing more could be done.

Pam went to be with the Lord on December 6th.  She fought a hard fight and never gave up until just before the end.

We prayed for God’s healing… however I guess God needed her more than we did.

Pam could light up a room just by walking in.  She always put everyone before herself.

If you needed help and she could provide, she did.  Example;  One evening she saw a lady standing in the rain with a sign, passed her by, turned around, went back and gave her all the money she had, about 20 dollars.

That was the wonderful kind of person she was and we all miss her dearly.
