Since Pam went to be with the Lord not a day goes by we don’t think of her. We know she is better off, but as many of you know, it does not make it any easier for those of us left behind.
Scott is doing very well. One of his nurses, Tracey, is determined to have Scott in a wheelchair and in the living room by Christmas day. She is very determined and I would not bet against that happening.
There have been a number of things since my last update but I want to let you know that Scott is doing very well before telling you everything else that has happened.
Scott’s mother, Pam, had been fighting ovarian cancer for about 2 years. In June 2012 we discovered the cancer was stage 4 and nothing more could be done.
Pam went to be with the Lord on December 6th. She fought a hard fight and never gave up until just before the end.
We prayed for God’s healing… however I guess God needed her more than we did.
Pam could light up a room just by walking in. She always put everyone before herself.
If you needed help and she could provide, she did. Example; One evening she saw a lady standing in the rain with a sign, passed her by, turned around, went back and gave her all the money she had, about 20 dollars.
That was the wonderful kind of person she was and we all miss her dearly.
