Help send Cory to Ireland!

I’m determined to do more frequent updates on Scott, perhaps even weekly. Visitors to Scott’s website ask about Scott and pray for Scott and I’m so grateful for that.
We now have a ‘Join our Mailing List’ button on the site. If you register we’ll let you know when there’s an update.
Because Scott’s story is so long I am going to attempt to give the highlights of the last 19 years. I’m sure that many of you do not believe God intervenes in our lives to direct a specific outcome, but I do. If you don’t, that is okay because everyone has free will to believe as they choose.

Hello friends,
We are thankful that Scott and I are safe and well.
I have received calls and email asking how we are doing since the tornado hit Tuscaloosa on Wednesday and I am proud to tell you God watched over us and my home received no damage.
The tornado came through about 1/2 to 3/4 miles from us as the crow flies.
“Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition” I believe was a well known phrase from WWII that describes our current position.
I am proud to proclaim that I am a Christian who believes that God created the universe and Jesus died for our sins. So we praise God for where we have been and where we are now.
On June 30, 2010, Scott will have been home from the hospital for two years. That alone is enough to thank God for his blessings. The consensus of the nursing staff at the hospital was that we would be back within 2 weeks. I guess they were shocked since we haven’t been back in 2 years.
